DESCRIPTION:Nolinski Paris is pleased to invite you to a lecture on Monday 22 September at 7pm on the painter Gustave Caillebotte\, led by Stéphanie Chardeau-Botteri. \nStéphanie Chardeau-Botteri\, Gustave Caillebotte’s great-grandniece\, has always been involved in her family’s artistic world. With degrees in law\, management and art history\, she has been an art expert for over 25 years and is a member of the National Chamber of Specialised Experts. After years of exploring the family archives\, she has published the first biography of Gustave Caillebotte\, Caillebotte\, l’impressionniste inconnu (Éditions Fayard). The book traces the artist’s life in the context of the 19th century and the Impressionist movement. It has been selected for the 2024 Goncourt Prize for biographies. \nThis book signing lecture offers an immersion into the 19th century by retracing the life of Gustave Caillebotte through the history of Impressionism. \nMonday 22 September at 7pm \n
