DESCRIPTION:The Grand Salon at the Nolinski Paris is the setting for a monthly discussion between the philosopher Emmanuel Leclercq and a public figure.\nWe are delighted to invite you to a meeting with François Alu\, “danseur étoile”\, former member of the Paris Opera Ballet. At the end of the event\, there will be a book signing for his book “Le Prix de l’étoile”\, published by Robert Laffont in October 2024. In this autobiographical and poetic book\, François Alu tells the secrets of the corridors of the Opéra Garnier\, the lights of show nights\, suffering\, anger and discipline. \nAfter twelve years at the Paris Opera\, François Alu was appointed “danseur étoile” in 2022. A few months after his appointment\, he announced his departure to pursue a personal artistic career. \nEmmanuel Leclercq is a philosopher\, essayist and lecturer. He teaches philosophy and the ethics of AI and is the founder of “Devenir pour Agir”.

Her recognizable\, modern masculine/feminine style\, brings out the best in women’s personalities. \nLaurence Benaïm\nA French journalist and writer specialising in fashion\, she has written biographies of Yves Saint Laurent\, Jean Michel Frank\, Marie-Laure de Noailles. She has been awarded the French Order of Arts and Letters (Commandeure des Arts et des Lettres).

DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the Coline en Ré association\, Evok Collection is holding charity piano concerts featuring young virtuoso artists.\nThis music will be performed in Nolinski Paris and Nolinski Venezia\, two settings where melody resounds in a particularly meaningful way. Coline en Ré offers a combination of world-class classical music and a humanitarian cause dedicated to helping children at risk. Donations collected at the end of each concert and Evok Collection’s contribution will help to “renourish” children from extremely poor families in Madagascar. It costs €10 to save a malnourished child. \nYou are invited to a concert by Yiheng Wang on Thursay 19th September at 7pm.
