“For this project, I pictured what the modern woman would wear at the Nolinski. I created an outfit consisting of a shirt and a skirt, two classic pieces revisited for the occasion. I wanted to contrast the calmness of the hotel interiors with its angular furniture and sculptures, and its frontage. This contrast is represented through asymmetric, deconstructed lines and gathered fabric, which are the signatures of my creative world.

In terms of colour, I’m considering dying certain parts of the outfit different shades of blue, perhaps even incorporating a cyanotype pattern.
In short, I have a sophisticated outfit in mind that retains its function as an everyday look for a fashion-forward woman, inspired by the Nolinski.”
