Philosophical meeting with Aurélie Clemente-Ruiz led by Emmanuel Leclercq

The Grand Salon at the Nolinski Paris is the setting for a monthly discussion between the philosopher Emmanuel Leclercq, founder of “Devenir pour Agir”, and a public figure. On Monday the 17th of November, you are cordially invited to meet Aurélie Clemente-Ruiz. The event will include a book signing for his book “Pour un musée engagé”, published on the 2nd of September 2025 by Édition de l’Aube.
Aurélie Clemente-Ruiz has been director of the Musée de l’Homme since 1 April 2022, making her the first woman to head this institution within the National Museum of Natural History. Art historian specialising in the Arab world, she is a graduate of the École du Louvre and museology.
She is also a professor at the Sorbonne Abu Dhabi and the École du Louvre and regularly speaks at international conferences. She is committed to opening cultural institutions to all audiences, but also to new practices with a multidisciplinary approach to projects.
