“This project tells the story of a soul seeking to detach itself from its host in order to reach another world.

The rigor of tailoring evokes earthly grounding, the structure of the body, while pleating introduces movement and dematerialization.

A lapel lifts, a waistcoat pocket disintegrates, sleeves open up to embody a transformation, a metamorphosis. The pleating gradually expands, unfolding along the lower part of the coat like a floating drape.

This coat does not illustrate death, but an intermediate state: a suspended moment between presence and disappearance.”
